Pension Investment Association of Canada

NBIMC is a member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC), whose mission is to promote sound investment practices and good governance for the benefit of pension plan sponsors and beneficiaries. Student Investment Fund

With the assistance of NBIMC, the University of New Brunswick established the Student Investment Fund (SIF) in 1998. At its inception, the SIF was responsible for investment management services of trust fund assets totaling $1 million that were assigned to it by the NBIMC. Canadian Coalition for Good Governance

NBIMC is a member of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance (CCGG) whose mission is to represent Canadian institutional shareholders in the promotion of corporate governance practices that best align the interests of boards and management with those of the shareholder. Office of Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is a department of the provincial government of New Brunswick. Part of the OHR’s responsibilities, via its Compensation and Employee Benefits Division, is administer various provincially-sponsored pension plans, including the Public Service, Teachers and Judges pension plans for which NBIMC is the trustee.
